Amanda is great.
There, happy? :-p
Gathering yesterdee was lovely, I always wonder whether it'll work after I haven't seen peeps in so long, and we're always back into the swing of it within ten seconds of walking through the door. Amanda's going to Oxford Law School next year! ^_^ This is bleedin' unfair I feel, everybody gets to be in Oxf except me... *sulks*
But lo, it was good. We sat around and ate barbecue and Celebrations and talked of random things varying from corporate manslaughter (I still want to read that dissertation!) to ex-schoolfriends in PVC catsuits (and I shall not specify which in case it gets back to her ^_^). Somewhere along the way Lizzie's family puter bust and was fixed, as seems to happen every time I'm round her house - I swear it's not me, unless I emit some kind of electromagnetic pulse that I'm not aware of...
Incidentally, did anyone see the Grand Prix yesterday? So good! I was vaguely recording it for Dad, so I had it on in background, which means I was there when that twat ran onto the track and it all turned into Wacky Races. I (heart) Rubens Barrichello, for lo is he ickle and sweet and he cries when he wins. Buy that man a hankie. ^________^
*falls over laughing* Now I know that getting amusing blog links from Memepool is totally cheating, but you really should see the universe giving us the finger.

Bastards! Oh well, they sounded like arseholes you wouldn't want to live with anyway... six weeks and you'd have had to kill them, you know it. We'll do the tour of Oxf and firebomb their house on the way.

U think i'd have lasted six weeks?! I'm very flattered by the levels of patience ur crediting me with. I had a hole tunnelled under the patio all dug and ready for the first time the Hooray Henrys expected me to do their cleaning, which I suppose I should donate to whatever poor sods ARE sharing with the knobheads next year. Unless of course they're Hooray Henriettas, in which case I may just take u up that firebomb suggestion...xxx
