La la la...

...that was a lovely relaxing weekend. Went to imouto-chan's for a couple of days, marathoned the entire Raffles TV series, got fed Sunday lunch by her long-suffering family and generally sat around doing a very enjoyable nothing much. Raffles is incredibly silly, you need to see it very much indeed. Bunny-the-sidekick is endearingly gormless, and Raffles himself is indescribably and deliciously posh. I spent the whole time tittering every time he said 'orff' or 'acrawss' or 'POE-lice'...

Oh, and Guns and Talks, which is the Korean action comedy about the assassins which she has been describing as live action Weiss Kreuz, is.

It's also really really really funny and everyone should watch it. ^_^

So yes. That was my weekend, except for the bit where li'l bro rang me, AFTER I had arrived in Northampton, to tell me that the car was out of oil and in immediate danger of blowing up and could I please drive very very carefully. So, in a childish fit of pique poetic act of revenge I made him drive all the way to Northampton and back (four hour round trip) in my mother's car to put oil in mine. In the dark. And I made him wait outside her house until we'd finished eating supper too. No, he didn't get any. No, I don't think that was mean.

............

...........

Listen, he owes me for all those times I've driven into central London for him when he was too lazy an ass to take the train home, alright? ^_^;;;

Seems fair treatment of the NRI. Cars blowing up... lalalaaa.
Thought the security details might have had spare oil though- assume the Hunvees need it.

Correction: Humvees.

*tuts* Slipping, Nee-sama. You linked to the 1975 TV-movie pilot for the TV series, not the 1977 TV series itself. *pitying glance*
