Goddammit! I want to see everything Sam West is doing, even if it is in Sheffield. Anyone fancy an expedition or two at some unspecified point in the future? I've already recruited our resident Sam West fangirl and our resident Northerner, any more for any more...

Sheffield may be a bit beyond my financial limits right now, but I'm up for Kew, Colindale and anything else London related, and I'm putting in a request for a trip to the Tower at some point... ^_~
(I am, however, boycotting War of the Worlds on the grounds that it has Tom Cruise in it and he has recently taken to loudly airing certain views on the medication of mental illness that I take great offense at, the more so because he is using his fame to spread what is a frankly uninformed and damaging distrust of medication that is already hard for some of the people who need it to get hold of. /rant)

I wish to apply for more information on a) the McLaren F1 exhibition (are we talking the racing team or the pretty pretty sportscar?) b) anything that involves me finally getting to go to the Tate Modern and c) Chihuleeeeeeeeeeeeeee (despite the fact that my overriding memory of Mr. Chihuly is the huge number of wooden crates his exhibition left in my office when I worked in San Antonio and not anything swirly and glassy. @_@)
