Feast of Fools

It really shouldn't make me as happy as it does when I get revived in Urban Dead. For true happiness, I should stop getting my ass killed and zombified every three turns.

So *coughs* Heavens, hasn't it been a while since I blogged. Work has slightly eaten me recently ^_^;;; I won my first big deal a couple of weeks ago, whereupon my boss bought me a bottle of expensive champagne and the world exploded. 4am starts and 9pm finishes are not good for those bits of the brain which stop you from going mad and killing everyone in the world. I have Learned This. *nodnod*

Anyway. In between El Work Month of Doom, I have actually been doing fun stuff - among other things, went to Oxf for May Day and got up at godknowswhattime in the morning to go listen to the usual Summer Is Icumen In Loudly Sing Static Screech From Microphone. We went to the Grand Cafe afterwards for a posh fry-up and champagne at 6.45am, which improved the whole experience immeasurably ^_^

The flat is coming along fairly nicely too... still no chance of moving in in sight, but hey, the view still rocks ^_^;; Dad is lovingly building my kitchen while I think of new and innovative ways to spend all my savings on shiny things that go beep.

And thus concludes this edition. Everyone who I've been crap at communicating with recently, really sorry please don't take it personally, I've been a bit zonked for the last few weeks ^_^;; Hopefully work will ease off a bit shortly (ha ha) and I can get on with important stuff like taking over the world and choosing which shade of white to paint every available surface of my flat.
