Think Of The Children!!!
Citizens of teh interwebs, I need your help! One of my dad's work partners has a seven-year-old daughter who's just been told she has to wear an eyepatch for a squint. She's extremely not happy, so they're all trying to think of things to make her feel better about it...
...and she doesn't like pirates. Who a) is cool, b) wears an eyepatch, c) is not a pirate, and d) is suitable for a bloody-minded seven-year-old??
My only suggestion so far is Angelina Jolie from Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow... she came up with Greebo, but he so doesn't count. :-D

Greebo totally DOES count! And how can she not like pirates?
The only people I can think of are anime characters. -_- If she likes dolls/action figures/lego/playmobil etc, they could always make little eyepatches for all the people, that sort of thing use to amuse me.
BTW, I keep ticking the "remember personal info" box on here, but it never does remember.

The only one I could think of myself, apart from a host of anime characters, was the log lady from Twin Peaks and I don't think that would have been quite right ;)
However, Wikipedia knows about eyepatches and has the perfect suggestion: Dangermouse!

An interesting page. I like the Hussite leader (I have been a tad fixated with Hussites lately). I thougth Kutosov had a glass eye or some such otherwise, considering this is Tasha's blog, I really ought to have mentioned him.
