I have the key to Tasha's room while she's in London for the weekend. Ahahahaha.
And also - eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(I may be repressing about current affairs, what do you think?)
In other news, it has been the Saturday morning from hell. My insomnia woke me up at 4.54am, and then when I was trying to get back to sleep I heard someone listening to music still. So I was lying there thinking 'who the hell is awake and listening to nice quiet music like this at this time of the morning?' And I listened to the music, and it was someone singing along to the end theme of Spirited Away.
Uh...huh.
I'm pretty sure it's the guy downstairs who also listens to classical music and Hong Kong cheese - but only the two Hong Kong cheese tracks that I also have. I feel like I'm being single white femaled. It's getting unnerving.
So anyway, I got back to sleep, and then got woken up at about 7.30 by the mother of all wasps buzzing like a B52 in my window. I'm pretty sure it was a queen but I couldn't face swatting the fucker at that time in the morning, so I just let it out. I then went back to sleep, and then at 8.15 the fire-alarms went off and I had to trek outside in my pyjamas. Which was...cold. And then when they switched the alarm off and I went back to my room, someone came and knocked on my door and said the alarm had been set off from my room.
*glances round* Ummm...no. No, don't think so. Remarkable lack of fires in here. I hadn't even burnt any toast or anything, I was asleep for God's sake. I've eventually come to the conclusion that my hostile subconscious has worked out a way to use telekinesis against me. Is nothing safe?
I then decided that the world hated me and I should get up. And there was no hot water for my shower. *cries* Sucks ass. Sucks so much ass.
At least it's sunny.
Oh, and yesterday evening was fun. I don't recommend the new noodle place on the Cowley road, it's not very nice - go to Edamame instead, it's not much more expensive and it's infinitely better. But the company was good, and that makes all the difference. Nice to see a slightly different selection of animesoc people, even though I greatly missed the usual crowd. Hope you're having a good time at home!
Think I might go write fic now... *plot bunnies for random Nichol/Sakano fic...*
