:D :D :D :D

Okay, so I haven't exactly seen a *plethora* of eps with him in *makes big chibi eyes at Jenny in vague hope of cadging some episodes. It's not that I haven't been watching them because I have *morals*, I just forgot for a long time ^_^;;;;;*, but I'm still quite keen on that one. Plus the description nearly killed me.

Well, I'm back from Exeter. Taking a day or so off from University work before I head back to Oxford to write a handful of Alexander essays and read through my Horace texts for the third time. Kinda looking forward to going back - but dear me, it has been *so* nice to have free time for a change. *mourns*. Though I haven't been doing as much writing as I probably ought to have been. Ah, screw it, I do this for a god-damned *hobby*, not for a living. I refuse to feel guilty.

Exeter was good fun, in general terms. Even though we did end up in Pain Town, for some rather circuitous reason involving steam trains. Exeter is a nice town with nice shops and a nice cathedral, and I found an excessively artsy coffee shop to lurk in for much of our free time. Yeah, I know it sounds dull and antisocial, but I am gradually coming to realise that if I spend too much time with tour people (or indeed many people) then I get cranky and depressed, so it's really better for all concerned if I just bugger off to a coffee shop for a couple of hours a day. So I was at least thoroughly caffeinated all week ^_^

Other than that: services generally went well, I bought a very frivolous summer dress and two Fruits Basket DVDs, had plot bunnies for the huuuge CCS fic I still have half a mind to write one day, and the good parishoners of Menheniot in Cornwall, on whom we intruded for a couple of days, apparently don't seem to think we get fed enough. I've never seen so many Cornish pasties, scones and cream teas in the same place at the same time.

I also read HP Lovecraft, just to be incongruous, and adored The Dreamquest Of Unknown Kadath even though I'm absolutely certain I shouldn't have done.

(....okay, even in Highlander I refuse to believe that anyone scripted the line 'run, Duncan! Run your kilt off!')

Think that brings proceedings up to approximate if uninteresting date. Go read Lizzu's blog if you want fun, she seems to be having a whale of a time :D I send reminders that I will pay good cash for 13x6 doujinshi of just about any variety...

Hee heeee, you got Greed!! **utter, utter dorkdom joy**

And ahhh, I stand corrected! If it isn't morals that are the problem, I'm sure I can see my way to lending you the ones you haven't seen (and I should have the entire series by the beginning of term, too. Ooooooh ^_~)
