The dreaded lurghee
*sighs* I'd apologise for not blogging, but I'm still feeling faintly grotty and don't have anything much to blog anyway, so yah boo sucks.
So, I'm sure many things have happened since I last blogged, which was some time back in the Triassic period. But at the *moment* the only one that readily springs to mind is The Communal Lurg. Which I thought Ivan must have brought back from Ireland with him, but thinking about it I know enough people who have a similar thing around Oxford that it's probably just a general thing. Whatever its origins, it's *horrible* >_< Especially since it meant I missed the one service I was really looking forward to this term - the Vaughn Williams mass in g minor at Pusey on Sunday morning. Being as I *had* actually stopped being sick by that point, but could really stand up properly. Since I rather felt like I'd been beaten up.
I'm not a very good invalid, in case you hadn't noticed.
The lurg through a bit of a damper over my enjoyment of the Halloween party (I'm still half expecting everyone else who was there to go down with it >_< >_<), as I could feel myself going progressively greener and greener as the evening went on until I had to run away for ill-related reasons. Meh. I do hope everyone else had a fun time in general, in spite of me >_<
Am now generally feeling better in myself, but still feeling rather like a wet rag and as if I could do with another couple of days sleep. Also have no appetite, which is starting to annoy me.
Right, whining aside... Not a lot, really. I dashed home for a couple of days last week to rest and recuperate (yes, this was *before* the lurg, I was just feeling stressed and noted that if I didn't go home for those couple of days, I wouldn't have another chance before the end of term. Woo.). At home I duly watched Time Tunnel, walked a neighbour's dog, chatted to parents, and did all those other nice things that going home is pleasant for. I do love Oxford, but sometimes it's *awfully* nice to get away from it.
Oh yes, and Katy's visiting at the moment. Which is nice ^_^

Just to say: *GLOMP* I am wary of pestering you to go for coffee when you're not feeling well, but if you want to meet up any time I'll happily glomp IRL too. *patpat* ^_^
