Address in Athens
H-okay, I'm going to Athens on Sunday. Which, as noted below, is slightly alarming. I'm also going to my older sister's tomorrow to stay over as she lives rather closer to the airport than we do, so I probably won't be able to make it online tomorrow evening. So! Final blog post before going! Possibly final blog post for some time, depending on internet access issues @_@
Since some people have asked where I'm going to be staying, I thought I might as well post my address here. Well, I assume it's going to be my address ^_^ It's the only one I've got, so if it's wrong, your guess will be as good as mine. A comforting thought ^_^;;;

Don't think there's anything else noteworthy to mention. Gave myself a stinker of a headache last night, probably from squinting at Gankutsuou wallpaper too long, fell into bed some time after three, and slept until quarter to one this afternoon @_@ This is a really bad habit to be getting into a few days before the start of term, irrespective of which country I happen to be taking classes in. Lectures are *always* sadistically early, it's a rule or an old charter or something.
Have packed suitcase, more or less, and *think* everything's going to go in, though I've had to jettison virtually all my books in favour of ebooks. Well, if the damned laptop's going with me anyway, I might as well make use of it. I have a large heap of Neal Stephenson, Scarlet Pimpernel, Master and Commander, Jules Verne and Raffles (ahhh, comfort reading) - far more than I'm ever going to need while I'm away, but I think it's best to go with too much than too little since it doesn't make any difference to how much I'm carrying. After all, I might find that my course-mates and I hate each other sufficiently that we can't bear to spend any time in each other's company. And in that case, I think a stack of comics and trashy novels is probably the way forward.
Ah well. Athens, here we come.

Hmmm, since I am unlikely to see you before your departure I guess I'd better wish you bon voyage!
I'm sure you'll have a wicked time, even if they don't have random stray dogs running around to make friends with any more. Not that you'd necessarily like that anyway...
Shutting up now.

Don't they have stray tortoises in Athens?
...no, that could just be me, thinking about it.
