Quizzes, Sisi, Biggles. Three words never before put in a blog title together.

Tri-Lamb Material 73 % Nerd, 47% Geek, 52% Dork
For The Record:

A Nerd is someone who is passionate about learning/being smart/academia.
A Geek is someone who is passionate about some particular area or subject, often an obscure or difficult one.
A Dork is someone who has difficulty with common social expectations/interactions.

You scored better than half in Nerd and Dork, earning you the coveted title of: Tri-Lamb Material.

The classic, "80's" nerd, you are what most people think of when they think "nerd," largely due to 80's movies like Revenge of the Nerds and TV shows like Head of the Class. You're exceptionally bright and smart, and partly because of that have never quite fit in with your peers or social groups. Perhaps you've realized, or will someday, that it is possible to retain all of the things that you like about being brilliant and still make peace with the social cliques around you. Or maybe you won't--it's really not necessary. As the brothers of Lambda Lambda Lambda discovered, you're fine just the way you are and can take pride in that. I mean, who wants to be like Ogre, right!?

Congratulations!

THE NERD? GEEK? OR DORK? TEST

...huh. Well, I don't know what that's meant to mean, but I'll take the 'coveted title' reference to mean it's....sorta good? Ish?

I'd put up the historical lunatics quiz I've been amusing Lizzu with today, as it's much more amusing, only looking through my archives I discovered I already did it ^_^;;; But hey, I was Ludwig-sama, so that was okay.

So, I've finished my Yuletide fic, so obviously I've got to start procrastinating on the *next* thing now. Hot choice for that seems to be my DPhil application form. Yep, I'm pretty much aware that of all the things on which to use my l33t procrastination powers, I probably shouldn't be choosing the one thing that'll effect my life certainly for the next three/four years, and potentially for, y'know, *the rest* of it. Still, I set my procrastination targets high.

Guess I really ought to get something on paper before I go to chat to my supervisor about it tomorrow though...

Oh! Yes. And I've been to Austria. It was muchly good fun, only now I have kaffee-und-kuchen deprivation in the worst way. I'm also the proud ('proud'?) owner of the original cast recording of the musical of the life of the Empress Sisi. But *yes*. Shockingly, haven't got round to listening to it yet, though it may be that I'll post some choice extracts of it here at some point if you all ask nicely. (No, seriously, don't all swamp me with requests at once.) If any German speakers out there feel like giving me a hand with translating the lyrics, that'd be ace. I suspect I'm going to love Sisi's doomed son Rudolf, who gets all the emo numbers. Now I just need the Ludwig II musical (though, correct me if I'm wrong, German speakers, but does this and this make it look like there are actually *two* Ludwig musicals? How can that *be*?!) to go with my Ludwig II manga, and I'm working towards a full house of mad Wittelsbach memorabilia.

And one final thing - I've started using my largely-redundant-lj for random fandom stuff - it'll probably get bits of fics in progress and so forth posted in it, as soon as I get the time to write them and the nerve to post them - and I've just put a Biggles review up there. Word to the wise.

Hi, hope you don't mind, I stubled across your blog while googling for facts on Empress Elisabeth. >.> I'm a bit of a geek that way. Anyway! I heard the Ludwig manga has Elisabeth in it, is she in much of it? Where did you get the manga at?

If it isn't too much trouble could you e-mail me the answers? n.n;
