Michaelmas 2002 - Events


Meetings every Thursday 8pm in the Miles Room, St Peter's College.


6th week Saturday (Nov 23) - Anime shopping day in London - Was a great success, will be repeating at a later date I suspect.

7th week Saturday (Nov 30) - Spirited Away - a showing of the new Studio Ghibli film that took Japan by storm. Meet in the Miles Room at noon.

7th week Sunday (Dec 1) - Return of Bishiethon - The fangirl contingent's night in with large quantities of alcohol, chocolate, bishounen-filled anime and hysteria. If you don't know what a bishounen is, you probably don't want to come... ^_^

8th week Thursday (Dec 5) (details TBC) - Edamame night - The termly drunken rampage... err, society dinner at Oxford's best Japanese restaurant. Meet at Edamame (in Holywell Street) at 5.30pm.

Occasional themed weirdness - Halloween anime night having been a big success, a Christmas-themed night may well follow.
