Info: (spoilers!) Aya, our very own Abyssinian's little sister, was knocked into a coma by Takatori Reiji's car when she was sixteen, since when she has not physically aged at all. Her injury, and their parents' murders, caused Ran to take her name and become the nasty bastard we all know and love. ß decide they want her as host for whatever evil spirit they want to conjure up, because of her special genetic makeup which has caused the not-aging thing (Fake Anime Science (TM) alert!). NB. Aya is commonly designated Aya-chan, so we can all continue calling her brother Aya without getting hopelessly confused.
