Background: (spoilerific!) Omi was born Takatori Mamoru, but was kidnapped at the age of five, then rescued by his uncle Shuuichi when his father Takatori Reiji refused to pay the ransom. Shuuichi then brought up Omi to be an assassin the newly formed Weiss, to take vengeance on Takatori. It is eventually discovered that Omi is in fact the son of Shuuichi and Takatori Reiji's wife, Kikuno, hence Takatori's hatred of him. Character: Aaargh, it's super-genki boy! Even though he has just about every single member of his family killed in the course of the series, he still seems to bounce back with a cheery smile. This cannot be normal. The youngest and most 'innocent' of the group, he is also, strangely, the member who has been with them longest.
